They recommend you phone before bringing in a homeless animal.

B.C. Dog Training Club, 920 Turret Court Ct., Mundelein. Families needing assistance may pick up pet food on: Saturday 9 AM to Noon;

Accepts donations between 12:30 and 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturdays.

PAWS Chicago Food Bank, 3516 W. 26th St. Call ahead for appointment, 773-475-9426 Assistance is provided to families facing unemployment, foreclosure, or other financial crises. Also supplies (including cat litter, leashes, collars, cat carriers, and litter boxes) for a reasonable amount of time—until the family is able to provide these necessities on their own.
